The PantoneLIVE Visualizer (web app) is a valuable tool for packaging designers and suppliers. It allows users see and compare how different substrates and printing processes affect Private Brand or PANTONE Colors. By providing side-by-side comparisons with the corresponding dependent colors, this tool helps establish realistic color expectations for Master PANTONE Colors. The resulting palettes can be shared to communicate design intent visually and demonstrate achievability.
Solution
The Visualizer project is a high-performance, modular web application designed for accurate color visualization. Built with React and TypeScript, it follows a scalable architecture that ensures maintainability, performance, and security. The project utilizes Redux for state management, Material UI for a modern and intuitive interface, Eslint for code quality and consistency, and Vite for optimized bundling. As a result, the application provides a seamless and efficient user experience.
A robust CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions automates the testing and deployment process, ensuring reliable and seamless releases. The application is deployed using AWS CDK, enabling efficient infrastructure management. X-Rite SSO (Single Sign-On) authentication provides secure and seamless access.

SSO Integration - integrates with the SSO (Single Sign-On) system, allowing users to log in with the X-Rite account they use for other X-Rite apps.
Color calculations and transformations - leverage of X-Rite Colorimetry SDK to perform complex operations such as LAB to RGB color conversions and Delta E2000 calculations for accurate color differentiation.
Color closes match comparison - allows private brands to directly compare and validate their colors with closest matching Pantone Master colors.
