Additionally, X-Rite's existing solution, NetProfiler 3, was a desktop application with limitations in accessibility, scalability, and collaborative capabilities. They needed to modernize this legacy system to meet evolving customer needs and technological standards.
Our Collaboration
We partnered with X-Rite to transform their legacy NetProfiler 3 desktop application into NetProfiler 4, a sophisticated cloud-based color management solution. This migration represented a significant technological evolution, moving from locally installed software to a modern, accessible platform that calibrates and verifies spectrophotometers to maintain measurement accuracy.
The platform follows a systematic process to ensure color consistency across an organization's entire workflow. NetProfiler enables users to measure industry-certified calibration standards, after which the system analyzes performance by comparing these measurements against a golden reference. When deviations are detected, the software automatically applies correction profiles to bring devices back into alignment. The system then generates comprehensive reports that validate compliance with color standards.
Our cloud-based solution allows businesses to access real-time profiling data and updates from anywhere, making it easier to maintain color accuracy across distributed teams and manufacturing facilities. This approach significantly reduces color mismatches, saving valuable time and resources in production processes while overcoming the limitations of the previous desktop application.
