Description
Kinli is a first-of-its-kind personalized weight management application developed by Board Certified Obesity Specialists and IT experts, harnessing the best of medical evidence and technology, including but not limited to AI, smartphones, digital learning, and virtual care. Kinli is developing and maintaining a solution that aims to: Provide personalized, continuously refined guidance and tools to optimize the effectiveness of users’ weight management, Streamline the process of tracking each step in the weight loss journey, Facilitate the delivery of all the required information, materials, and content directly to the users via the application.
Solution
The application is built with React Native, which ensures a unified interface and minimizes the differences between platforms, both code-wise and UI-wise.
Through the mobile application, users can track each step of their weight loss journey, receive continuously refined guidance on their nutrition intake based on their progress, educate themselves about the habits that make a difference in their weight management, and receive support in the form of AI-powered chats that mimic human-to-human interaction. These chats react to user events (speaking, listening, and giving feedback) and provide hints about the different characters of Kinli.
Feedback is integral to this type of system and is delivered through various notifications, including in-app messages, emails, and push notifications. These messages are sent based on users' behavior and their level of interactivity or inactivity within the mobile application. Hangfire, as a job client, Hangfire ensures that all feedback messages and notifications are sent and that user behavior is processed, following an "at-least-once" policy, regardless of how many times the job has failed to execute.
The mobile application is the component that users access and interact with. It is responsible for transforming all dynamic data into a user-friendly and interactive interface that keeps the user's attention and feeds all their input into the system, generating a personalized experience for each individual.
The solution also encompasses a web-based administrative panel for management and successive refinement of the dynamic content served in the mobile application, built with React, guaranteeing a modern and easy-to-reach experience.
