The role of a DevOps engineer is critical to CodeChem’s project’s overall success, right from planning to support primary KPI as customer satisfaction and productivity. A DevOps Engineer at CodeChem has an essential role in integrating the project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support.
Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
Planning the team structure, and activities
Setting up tools and required infrastructure
Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
Perform root cause analysis for production errors
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
Coordination and communication within the team and with clients
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
At least 3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
